This set of stories is different than any other group or series in TKG. It addresses people in the Gambit (their characters and beliefs) , as opposed to events or timelines. In the Gambit, Frank Kurns is one of the original people who helped Bethany Anne create/develop TQB, and her whole philosophy that guided her throughout her efforts. Frank worked for the US government, as the liaison with the UnknownWorlders, and worked closely with Michael as Michael's primary contact with any groups - vampires, Wechselbalg, Forsaken, Nosferatu, etc. . He was THE authority for all knowledge related to the UnknownWorlders. As such, he worked closely with the people Bethany Anne developed in her activities, and kept meticulous notes about whatever happened, and whomever made it happen. He kept these notes in a diary, coded, in an old Earth language. Frank started to write stories/books about Bethany Anne's people while she was still on Earth, and continued in his activities, until long after she was in Yollin space, etc. He did this, so that he could keep Bethany Anne"real", so that all of the tall tales and rumors didn't get bigger and bigger, and exclude the truth.

In the first book, You Don't Touch John's Cousin, he addresses John Grimes, Bethany Anne's Leader of TQBs, and his family relationships with his cousin, Cheryl Lynn. It also allows Cheryl Lynn to be introduced as a major figure in the following books.

In the second book, Bitch's Night Out, he reviews the group of major enforcers Bethany Anne uses, John, Eric, Scott, Darryl,. Akio, and Peter, and what they do when they "want to have fun".

In the third book, Bellatrix, Frank introduces Yelena and Bellatrix, leading to their introduction into the Gambit, as well as the beginning of the relationship between Yelena and Bobcat., and Ashur and Bellatrix.

The fourth book, Challenges, is in two parts. The first part, Payback, delves into Tabitha, her roots, her original beliefs, her development as a person, with the help of Gabrielle and others. The second part, Seed Vault, examines Barnabas and his relationships with Team BMW (and his MO in dealing with people) in their infamous Beer-Brewing Competition, to develop the best beer for All Guns Blazing, referred to many times throughout the Gambit.

As these manuscripts depend more on pages of discussions rather than event timelines, It is recommended that the books themselves be consulted, if one wishes to research these characters. It's just too much to put into a wiki.
