Marcus is a main character in the entire Gambit, always with his math, and his bets. He is totally oblivious to most human interactions (Tina had to ask him to marry her - he never got the message), and is a genius at anything space, math, and transportation. He was and is one of the original members of Team BMW, loves beer, and believes in Barnabas.

Rocket scientist, believes in UFOs, alien. Got kicked out of Space-X after 3 yrs. because he believed in UFOs. Kicked out of NASA after 30 yrs.for political reasons. Separated from wife after Space-X debacle. She left him, upset over jokes re his beliefs. 3 months without a job.

6’2”, 190 lbs., beanpole thin, bookish scientist, often forgets where glasses are. Doesn’t know how to cook. Prefers Dr. Pepper or Coke.
