Donnon, Great Battle Ax, Gordon a broadsword, Estair knives and arrows, Alastar, a set of paladin armor, with sword. When about to leave, Layla (Water mage in the clan) brought out four horses, to better aid their journey. All had ridden before but Alastar. who got VERY sore! Alastar, white horse. Gordon, black horse. Estair, whit with blackdapples on rump, Donnon a red horse. All saddled, ready. Best friend of Donnon in the past, before the Clans forbade them to see each other again, as friends . Gordon had already introduced Donnon to his future wife, who probably would have drifted to Gordon, if they had not been separated. Donnon and she Had created Kia, a miracle, but were not truly well-mated. Caused heartache throughout their marriage. But Gordon remained Donnon's best friend, throughout the years, and would become a major character in the fight Alastar is beginning, the fight to unite the clans/paladin/mages, etc. to a better, future Roneland.
