Feels responsible for the almost assassination of her parents. At 12, was messing around with EIs, hacking, internet stuff, found info she should not have. Her parents were blamed,and they were almost killed until she told what had happened. They were always uncomfortable around her, so she ran off to the military when she had just turned 16.

Technically a genius, but "Broken", to use her cultural term. Expected to have "off", unusual. behavior". Works in AI Research Lab. Self-taught, specializing in theoretical energy physics and computer sciences. Woke up one morning to find that a sentient being, an AI, had hacked her brain, downloading all night onto her holo storage in the process. Used the Ethertrak. Molly and it decided on name (Project Ozymandias 0922), Oz, to represent it (Ozimandaus will be its Sunday name.)Molly dictated policies of ethics and morals it would follow. Was third generation, had watched most of the videos her Grandfather had brought to the Meredith Reynolds years ago. Thought OZ sounded like Red Dwarf. Very little disciplined thinking. In fact, acts without thinking most of the time, and thinks differently than others. (Seduced a boy she had a crush on by altering her pheromones to match his DNA). Hacked into the civil planetary banking system.

Likes experimenting ( different colored hair, but used tequila as a binder ion the solution, so has taken more than two years, and still hasn't grown back to original color) . Enjoys physical sparring (with Joel Dunham) - knows many jujitsu and karate moves and techniques. Sometimes wakes up the next morning, and can't explain how something had happened the night before. (How had steel chair been demolished?) When she went wild, she went all the way.

At end, Joel talks with her re her learning about herself, her values, her decisions in the future:

I get the sense that wherever there is something you’re not sure about, you’re so willing to learn and then master it and there is no question that you will learn from the bad moves very quickly. You’ve got this. You really have.” Her response was

“Okay. Here's what's going to happen. I'm going to do everything I can to make this operation work. We're going to take out the bad guys and make this system a better place for everyone. Sometimes I won’t know the rules, so I’m going to need you to remind me. Because I never want to feel like this again.“But know this,” she continued. “If ever anything happens to you, or our people, those rules are null and void. I will do whatever it takes to make sure you are safe.”
