An old military acquaintance of Molly's (former Captain). She used to spar with him in training. They both knew jujitsu and karate moves, and were recognized for their expertise in physical combat. Broad shouldered, "buff", larger than she remembered him. Molly contacts him when she is discharged from Military (4077), looking for a job. He, too, was currently unemployed, and the two of them decide to form a company to "do things for the good of folks". Holds high standards of behavior and beliefs. Recognizes Molly for her leadership qualities, and supports her in all ways to develop those qualities. Considers himself her "trainer" as she develops throughout the book.
