He was Julianne's best friend and a damn good mystic, but his love of games often drove her mad. Easiest for her to link to. One of her most stable, best thinkers on committees, planners. Put forth plan to increase security, training at the Heights. Good sense of humor. Secretly loves Julianne, but she does not feel the same about him.

Danil could use multiple sets of eyes to ‘see’ his way around from different angles. The fewer the people, the harder it was for him to judge distance, and the chance that someone was looking just where he needed them to was much lower. Danil had lived in the Heights and knew every nook and cranny like the back of his hand. Danil decides to go on her pilgrimage with her, surprises her by showing up the morning she leaves, won't take no for an answer.
