The only human Bethany Anne had met who could do so. As Anne has a scientific interest and talent, Bethany Anne put her to work, eventually, as a researcher into communications through the Etheric.

TKG16 Never Surrender/02, 11

Teenager, rooming with Tabitha, at Bethany Anne’s request. Emancipated from Mom & Dad after ships left Earth. (Mom into therapy about leaving Earth, Dad ineffective as a dad.)
