Mountain Lion Her name is Demon, and she was a science experiment for Raiden back there. He was doing research into programming things with nanocytes, and injected her with enough of them that the nanocytes have been trying to help her. Rescued from experimental lab, cat can communicate mentally, and is quite sentient. Became Michael's pet. (Bethany Anne has a dog, why not a cat for him?) She doesn't like to be watched as she eats fresh kills. Hard to grip ground, so hunting difficult. (All claws had been removed.) Acknowledging the loss of a part of her was difficult. Intensely curious. Akio took picture of her licking Michael's face. (Future blackmail!)
