Marcus is a main character in the entire Gambit, always with his math, and his bets. Rocket scientist, believes in UFOs, alien. Got kicked out of Space-X after 3 yrs. because he believed in UFOs. Kicked out of NASA after 30 yrs.for political reasons. Separated from wife after Space-X debacle. She left him, upset over jokes re his beliefs. 3 months without a job.
6’2”, 190 lbs., beanpole thin, bookish scientist, often forgets where glasses are. Doesn’t know how to cook. Prefers Dr. Pepper or Coke.
