Meredith Reynolds Station

The Meredith Reynolds was the first major space platform devised by Bethany Anne's group, as the main living/meeting area available for living in space. There were smaller group areas designed before that, the Cargo Contaiiner groups, etc., but it wasn't until after Yoll technology became available (TKG15 Never Submit/24) that it was possible to actually form giant internal spaces for human occupation, giant being kilometers in diameter, tens of kilometers in circumference. (The technology allowed the interior areas of asteroids to be excavated with minimal effort in both energy and time.) The station was named after Nathan Lowell's wife, Bethany Anne's mother, who had died long before. The Reynolds was taken through the Yoll Gate, into their system, and its gigantic mass was probably what caused the Gate to shatter. The Reynolds held everything that was necessary for living in space - docks, transport lines, growing spaces with an artificial sun, living spaces, a main Court, which contained stages for Bethany Anne to address the Station as a whole- you name it, it had it, including All Guns Blazing as its main meeting place, although as the space within the Reynolds developed more, there were many other business and bars competing with each other, etc. The Reynolds could also function as a ship in battle, and did so on several occasions, helping to win skirmishes which decided the fate of the Etheric Empire. The Reynolds is a main area throughout the Gambit, and in other series as well, and its details are too numerous to be mentioned individually.
