Syd, Roy's First Mate Human
SOM 01/12, All Female, over six feet tall, bald head (shaved), two broadswords on her back. Oversaw Abbey's first training on the Foggy Day, making sure she did everything right. Sees potential in Abbey, the "Arcadian", and supports her throughout book with efforts and strength in training, planning, fighting, etc. A main character, with very few distinguishing characteristics. (Cursed well, liked to get into trouble (fights).
Syd shaves her head out of respect and to maintain a vow to keep it bare until she finds out what had happened to her brother, who had gone out with Tot, as a crewman, and had never come back. Tot refused to tell her what and had happened, and was upset with her for asking too often.
