BC 02/3, 9 Shen, a werecat captured by a vampire (Konrad) for his blood, was the basis of an experiment to improve humans to better serve their vampire masters. All had died except one, Andrev. He had been fed their bodies as part of his food supply. He wished for death, as 2-3 months in the cage being drained of his blood was worse than death.
Shen tells him of the legends (See Characters, Boris - Legends), ands waas rewarded with food.
