Was entombed by Michael at one point, escaped when released by grave robbers. David's son, took over Europe when Michael disappeared. Evil, wants to rule the whole world, starting with Europe, then USA, etc. Sends son, Donovan, with Nosferatu, to capture New York, defeated by Michael, Valerie kills Donovan. Tries to enslave Europe, defeated by Michael. Daughter, Valerie, went along with it for a while, then was betrayed, supposedly killed by Donovan who wanted to be inheritor of William's activities, when William died.

"The Duke expects our loyalty and our respect." Password at one of the bar's the Duke purchased blood from. Michael couldn't handle saying it, so killed everyone.
