Was Second in Command to William, The Duke. Had assisted him for decades (had received blood from Duke, giving him enhanced age, abilities), with the intent of eventually killing off the Duke, and taking over his activities as Ruler of the World. Would let the Duke do all of the hard work, then eliminate him when the time came.
