Son of Lunu, ruler of the Lungu Protectorate, a political entity in the Age of Magic. Lungu had a talent for Mover's magic (physical manipulatios), and his son was stronger in it. Clarence wanted to take over the Protectorae even before his father died (Clarence and Jank used their men, and some Assessors, to steal from the villages, and therefore, from the protectorate itself)a nd so went out, with his father's warning, to try to handle all of the problems Adris and her cronies were acusing. Didn't succeed, even though used quite strong Mover's magic, and was killed. Ashes burned and scattered by Lungu, who then planned to take a new wife and try again for an heir.
