TVC 03/7 Jeltor, was a Jotun. Jotuns were blue/purole blobs (jelly-fish like bodies) with wavy arms and two very bulbous eyes. Jeltor’s body looked like a clump of jelly that was about to burst and spill every which way. For all she knew he was a supermodel by Jotun standards. Need robotic suits to survive off of their planet. Live in the water there. Body has capability to turn different colors, depending on emotions expressed. (TVC 04/2)(Happiness, distress, panic) I think you can see their emotion in how they ripple, (Shinigami, TVC 05/21) Translators did not use words "ears" in English. Used "tentacles",so apparently they served as all-sensory devices (TVC 05/05) Suits are biomechanical, and suits cannot ever be controlled remotely.” (TVC 05/07)

TVC 03/8 Barnabas was reading Jeltor's mind. The one in the robotic suit—a Jotun, Shinigami had told him—had thoughts that even felt like jello, though Barnabas wondered if that was just his mind tricking him based on the creature’s appearance.

TVC 03/10 The Jotun species clearly thought they were superior to all other alien races, taking great pride in their intellect. If Barnabas were to question this one—Jeltor, was it?—the alien would be insufferable and take great joy in talking circles around Barnabas. He had already gotten the sense that it masked its true thoughts by concentrating on inconsequential things while he was around.

TVC 03/12 Jelter's family (Wife and two children)still lived with the Joltun fleet. He'd been on a work trip when he was captured.

TVC 03/17 As Jelter showed off his robotic combat suit, Shinigami recognized that Jean Dukes and the Federation would have to see this technology, as it was far advanced over what they knew. Barnabas and Shinigami had spent part of the previous night going over what they could find of Jotun history and military engagements. They had found one recurring piece of advice from a variety of sources and phrased in a variety of ways, but all boiled down to the same thing—don’t fuck with the Jotun people, and you won’t get massacred. They didn’t deploy their military often, but when they did…it was with extremely impressive results.

TVC 04/1 Home planet, Coyopa (See Locations, Coyopa)Planet was completely inimical to most races, and Jotuns had much amusement in watching others fail in attempting to settle there. Had few guests to the planet, so were dismayed when 12 satellites appeared, sending missiles, explosives down on them in retaliation for their Navy's response to Barnabas' request for information. The Navy had given it, and the Yennai bases had been destroyed. Now Loel, Yennai leader, was retaliating. Altough the race had evacuation tanks in readiness, the attack came too quickly, and many of the populace was destroyed, as their tanks could not be lifted quickly enough to save them Also, their defensive air fleets were ineffective, as thet had never had to defend before, and just didn't have enough equipment or knowledge to do so.

TVC 05/01 Barnabas had an absolute hatred of their Parliament. Corrupt bastards, the lot of them. They had signed their people over to a bloodthirsty corporation in return for a few beach houses and Lord only knew what other trinkets. Shinigami had uncovered enough dirty money trails running through their system that Barnabas could have made nearly every member of Parliament a pariah in society. He hadn’t released the information yet, but he fully intended to if they pissed him off in the future.

He had great respect for the Jotun Navy, having worked with them in previous encounters.
