Whistle blower (“It seems my boss, William Dewitt, has been involved in vote-fixing in the Senate.) on William Dewitt, Senate Official, who worked for the Syndicate in pushing biased health bills through Planetary government. Was discovered, and called Joel for an "extraction" to safety. Also rescued his girlfriend, Paige. Garet becomes part of Joel and Molly's team, going off-planet with them, etc., but goes back to Senate, at end of book, to work as an undercover agent for Molly and Joel (best case), or get killed. (worst case).

Paige does not gp back to Estaria with him, stays with Molly and Joel. As part of escape process, runs and gets into Sean Royale's cab. Sean gives him his holo #, and Garet will call Sean when he gets back to planet at end of book.
