JJE 01/13 Delegation leader of Keome group. “I am Yus, Primary for Keome. My second is Miento. Suarpok provides spiritual counsel, and Ome and Yutta are the Commoner representatives.” Works for the good of his people, but in the control of the forces that rule the government on his planet. He is terrified that one of his delegation intends to kill him. His family is being held hostage on Keome so that it will be assured he will negotiate as the controlling powers of his planet wish. Tries to cooperate with Rivka, but at a loss as to his power to do so. Has spies in his delegation that will report back on him. Sinraloo, the Pretarian traitor, was working with the Keome to upset the entire negotiations.

Agrees to go to ship, alone, with Maseer, to negotiate treaty. does so, and treaty is re-written in under four hundred words, to advantage of both peoples.

Upon taking the treaty back to the planet, Yus is killed in an explosion and many of the delegation members of both the planets are injured, taken to a hospital for emergency care.
