Tc'aarlat Yollin (2 legged)

SV 01/1, 3, All Pilot of ICS ''Fortitude'' (International Cargo Ship), a privately owned ship intent on private trade and capital improvement. Partnered with Jack Marber, the Captain, a human, and the navigator, Dollen Stonebrand, a Baroleon.
A two legged Yollin, although from an upper caste. As a child could never understand the scandal of a two-legged child being born to the upper caste. Reflected on his mother. Cheating? An embarrassment to his family, was banished to a boarding school before he was six. Spent his entire life growing up in that kind of environment. Became known as the "go-to" guy, the one who knew everything/everyone, could get anything you wanted, or wanted fixed. His cabin aboard this ship was the only one he had ever been in where he could switch off the light and be in bed before the room got dark.
Has as companion a Raal Hawk, a blood-red (burgundy) bird of prey, with piercing yellow eyes and a natural ability to change colors, textures, like a chameleon. Part of its hunting repertoire.

In trying to become more familiar with human language, Tc'aarlat continually, throughout the book, mis-quotes human sayings. 'A leotard can't change its spots.", or "Don't look a gift whore in the mouth" or "Birds of a feather fuck together", all quite humorous.
