Another Kurtherian Clan (not TOM's, one of the Seven) had invaded Earth sometime in its past, for the purpose of changing and exploiting its inhabitants to better fight the battlers of the other galaxies. It had started with the Chinese, and had created the Sacred Clan if that culture, encompassing the Leopard Princess, probably Kamiko Kana, and other werecats of other series. When the Leopard Princess was killed, the members of the Clan had taken and hidden the 16 pieces of the Kurtherian ship in which the aliens had arrived. Michael and Yuko knew of this, and had decided to find that ship, put it back together, and find Bethany Anne. Yuko's first step in this process was to visit with Kashikoi, the keeper of the information regarding what knowledge had survived during the years after WWDE.
