The Meredith Reynolds was the first major station devised by Bethany Anne's group, as the main living/meeting area available for living in space. there were smaller group areas designed before that, the Cargo cotaiiner groups, etc., but it wasn't until after Yoll technology became available (TKG 15/24) that it was possible to actually form giant internal spaces for human occupation.
