Charlie, Lake Creature Unknown species

TOTWK 01/10 A creature found being tortured by mercenaries. Was believed to have come from the nearby lake, but not for sure.
Ten feet tall, as broad as he was tall. well-muscled. four fingers, four toes, nose the size and shape of a crab-apple, high, slopping forehead, leading into a frizz of wiry black hair. Huge, nearly black eyes. No language, fearful of everyone, except Gormer, who, because he can communicate mentally, can enter Charlie's mind to see what images he is thinking in. Gormer feels comfortable there, because it's as chaotic as his own!
Charlie has an earth magic, one of communication with plants, the woods, forest,. He caused a whole harvest to grow overnight, from trimmed plants to fully harvest-able grain (including 16 bushels of hot chili peppers- important in future in story). He, himself, healed overnight from a tortured, burned, scratched, abraded body to one in good health.
His strength was enormous - could himself pull a fully loaded wagon, load, unload, etc., Just needed enough to eat! When found, he was dressed in sewn-together grain sacks. The villagers clothed him, and made him welcome and comfortable, especially after he grew the grain, overnight.
LOVES rock candy (Gormer gave him some). Has a wicked sense of humor.
