An Estarian Girl, in the boarding school The Sacred Ascenders Convent for the Gifted, Estaria.

COASA 01/3,5 Probably early teens. Raven hair. Is about to run away from the school, as she was too frustrated by the curriculum and the rules put upon her. Convent had her on medication, to control her. She apparently had access (genetically) to powers unusual at her age - levitation, uncontrolled energy, manipulating fire, light. Anne, according to Sister Bridgette, was getting stronger, and was driving her to drink, except there wasn't any. Bridgette was afraid.

They all were. And that was why they were sending her away. Far away to a land with no power. "I think we need to consider halting her training and taking her off world -to Teshov - where there isn’t the power source for her to channel." Charles said. (Estaria had planetary powers - magnetism? lay lines? - that certain unusual people could draw upon, which gave them unusual powers). Other planets had no such energies available, so people could be controlled.

Anne took with her a family talisman which she knew was connected to her powers. She felt powerful when she held it close. She knew it was important, but right from the beginning something had told her not to trust these people with it. They would succumb to its power. And though they were the ones schooling her on how to direct her abilities, intuitively she knew that she would surpass them very quickly. She was just getting going in her understanding of the realm.
She buried it in an orchard, under an older-looking fruit tree, before she left the area, knowing she would be back for it some day.
